Refund Policy

Short version

You can preview your full CV before paying. We only ask for payment when you're happy with the result. Because of this, refunds are not available after the PDF has been generated and downloaded — but we'll always do the right thing if something went wrong on our end.

1. Try before you pay

CVCreater is designed so you can complete the entire wizard, choose your template, and see a full preview of your CV before making any payment. This means you know exactly what you're getting before you commit.

2. When refunds are available

We will issue a full refund if:

  • You were charged but did not receive access to your CV editor (technical failure on our side).
  • You were charged twice for the same order.
  • A technical error prevented your CV from being generated after payment.

3. When refunds are not available

Refunds are generally not available when:

  • You have successfully accessed and downloaded your CV.
  • You changed your mind after payment (since you previewed the CV before paying).
  • You chose the wrong template (you can contact us and we may be able to help).
  • The 30-day editing window has expired.

4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Under EU consumer law, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. However, by proceeding with payment after previewing your CV, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once the digital content has been delivered (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).

5. How to request a refund

Email us at support@cvcreater.com with your order email address and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Valid refund requests are processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method.

6. Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact your card issuer or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
